The client for this Greenvale residence envisioned a swimming pool that would be the nucleus of their backyard living oasis, designed for the entire family's enjoyment. A key objective was to facilitate viewing of the pool from within the home, while functionally, the design needed to incorporate a dedicated area for children and a large pool seat for adults to relax and unwind.

Liquid Blue Pools delivered a vibrant, multi-functional pool area, ingeniously designed to accommodate the needs of an active family. The concrete pool is surfaced with ceramic mosaic tiles , and includes a built-in swimming pool slide, specifically the Aqua Action waterslide, which is ideal for entertaining the little ones during the warmer months. The frameless glass fencing ensures the phenomenal views from the raised rear block are not obstructed. The outdoor entertaining area adjacent to the pool has been designed to resemble a resort-style oasis, which the homeowners, both adults and children, can enjoy for hours on end. From the moment you enter the house, the clever placement of an acrylic window will catch your eye and showcase the lovely underwater views of this striking pool.

Operationally, the pool is fully equipped with advanced systems. It features Pentair energy efficient pool equipment and full Pentair automation , allowing for hassle-free, set and forget programming to control heating and automatically schedule the Spa Electric LED lights. It also has solar heating, which contributes to year-round use. The mineral sanitation system ensures the pool’s state-of-the-art products have a remarkable effect on the water's quality, making it skin friendly and reducing maintenance requirements.

The property's unique sloped block presented a construction complexity, necessitating the pool's placement behind a 2.5-meter retaining wall. To overcome this and still meet the aesthetic goal of viewing the pool from the home, Liquid Blue Pools conceived the striking solution of building the pool up to the retaining wall and installing a Custom Acrylic Window directly into it. This sophisticated design transforms the retaining wall into a feature and establishes the pool as the centerpiece of the family's outdoor sanctuary.
